Biography

Florence Impens joined the John Rylands Research Institute as a Research Associate in September 2015, and was awarded a Leverhume Early Career Fellowship in September 2016. Prior to this appointment, she was a NEH-Keough Fellow at the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, University of Notre Dame, IN (2014/15), and lectured in English and in French at Trinity College, Dublin. 

She holds a PhD in English from Trinity College, Dublin, as well as MAs in French and in Irish Studies from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3.
