Ferdinand Thies is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. His research interests include software platforms, crowdfunding, and entrepreneurship. His work has been published in international journals such as Journal of Small Business Management, Information Systems Journal, Journal of Information Technology, Journal of Management Information Systems and Decision Support Systems as well as conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems and European Conference on Information Systems.
