Babson Olin Graduate School of Business

Erin Degnan Escobedo teaches Babson's real estate curriculum and has designed several courses within the curriculum. She is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and Florida and a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts. Erin has practiced law since 2004, focusing her practice primarily on real estate law, corporate transactions, and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 companies and individual clients as a litigator and transactional attorney with Shutts & Bowen LLP in Miami, FL. Erin later worked as an Associate General Counsel to a NASDAQ-listed, real estate corporation engaged in home building, land development, and other real estate operations in multiple states and managing approximately $545,000,000 in total assets.

Prior to joining Babson, Erin was a Lecturer at the University of Miami School of Business Administration in Miami, FL and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida International University College of Law.

At Babson, Erin designed and teaches the following courses: FIN 7566 Real Estate Transactions, FIN 9510 Residential Real Estate: Acquisition, Disposition, Finance and Leasing, FIN 3511 Residential Real Estate, and FIN 3512 Real Estate Transactions and Law. Erin also teaches FIN 7578 Real Estate Development, which she redesigned as an intensive elective, and FIN 3555 Real Estate Investment.
