Biography

Ellie Stillwell is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Management and Organizational Development Group of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Her research program is broadly focused on understanding the dynamics of flourishing and suffering in organizations. Towards this pursuit, her work integrates three themes: (1) positive workplace interventions; (2) the grief-work interface and compassion; and (3) workplace mistreatment.

Ellie's research has been published in, or is undergoing revision at, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Applied Psychology. At D'Amore-McKim, Ellie teaches organizational behavior in the undergraduate program.

Ellie completed her PhD in Business Administration in the Department of Work & Organizations of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. Prior to pursuing her graduate studies at Carlson, she graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy, and worked at the University of Missouri as a Research Specialist in the Department of Psychological Sciences.
