Dr. Eliza Byington is a Lecturer in Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney Business School. She received her PhD in Organisation & Personnel Management from the Rotterdam School of Management. Her Organisational Behaviour scholarship includes research on team performance, coworker satisfaction, and individual differences (e.g. personality, gender, age, IQ, nationality). Dr. Byington's research has also examined ways to improve the reliability of management science, overcoming the “research-practice gap”, and includes bibliometric reviews of large research literatures (e.g. the Human Resource Management field, Careers research). Her research has appeared in Research in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, and Academy of Management Learning & Education.

Dr. Byington has taught management courses at the undergraduate, MCom, MBA, and PhD/MPhil levels, and her master's level course on interpersonal and communication skills has been awarded the Dean's Citation for Teaching.
