Elena Zinchenko teaches Leading and Managing Teams, and Strategies and Processes of Negotiations at Chicago Booth. Prior to teaching at Booth, Ms. Zinchenko taught at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University and Harvard University.

Ms. Zinchenko also holds a position of the Executive Director of Research Development Support at the Office for Research and National Laboratories at the University of Chicago. In this role, she leads a team that develops large-scale multi-institutional federal proposals across many fields, as well as provides seed funding and strategic support for early-stage research projects at the University (big.uchicago.edu).

Ms. Zinchenko’s current research interests include novel models for research innovation and developing metrics of value capture beyond the traditional measures. Her previous work focused on the application of advances in neuroscience to business and education, as well as broad theoretical questions of cognition and development. She has conducted brain-imaging and behavioral research and received her doctorate from Harvard University and post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Chicago.
