Specialist in Human Resources Management (Master’s degree in 2012). She holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Tours (2018), Elena Essig is interested in organizational attitudes and behaviours, including psychological ownership, organizational commitment, integration and socialization of newcomer employees, gender diversity and equality in the workplace as well as expatriation management.

Her work has been published through research articles, conferences at national and international level and book chapters.

Her international profile (double Bachelor’s degree in International Business, successfully completed in Germany and England in 2008) as well as her professional experience in purchasing (DODUCO, Germany, 2008) and in the Human Resource Department of the French Air Force (France, 2009-2012), demonstrate a rich career.

As a professor, Elena Essig teaches Human Resources Management at national and international level as well as Intercultural Management. Her teaching languages are French, English and German. She focuses in particular on promoting a sustainable management of Human Resources as well as on conscientization of cultural differences in various professional environments.
