Biography
Alberta School of Business
Dr. Edy Wong is the Associate Dean, International at the Alberta School of Business and is responsible for the School's international relationships, customized executive programs and overseas degree programs. He graduated with a PhD from the University of Alberta in 1984, specializing in International Business and Economic Development.
Dr. Wong has authored numerous academic papers and newspaper op.ed. articles and founded the Institute of Asia Pacific Studies, the Asia-Pacific Management and Applied degree in Supply Chain Management programs at MacEwan University. He is an expert on East Asian business practices and continues to be involved in cross-cultural management & consulting, both academically and professionally.
He currently serves on a number of business and community boards including Edmonton Global, China-Canada Business Council (Prairie Region), the China Institute, the Beijing International Peace Foundation, and co-chairs the Trade Accelerator Program (Edmonton Chamber of Commerce).
