Biography
Alliance Manchester Business School
Dr Duncan Shaw is a university lecturer. He teaches, consults and researches internationally on Big Data, customer loyalty, CRM and service innovation and information systems. Since 2013 Duncan has developed a reputation as a leading expert on the Internet of Things. He is less concerned with the technical side; and instead focuses on how businesses can use the Internet of Things for profit, customer service and product development.
Before his university career Duncan worked in engineering and logistics, management consultancy and customer satisfaction.
Duncan has an MBA and a PhD in modelling Network Orchestration, both from the world-renowned Manchester Business School, as well as Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering.
