Mr. Ludwick is an accomplished senior executive with 20 years of experience within the healthcare industry and the high-tech software sector. He has acquired an expert level knowledge of the Canadian health sector and its complex issues through research, clinical studies and senior executive healthcare management experience. Mr. Ludwick has numerous research studies and publications to his credit and is frequently invited to deliver presentations to esteemed members of the medical and healthcare community throughout Canada. Mr. Ludwick currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Sherwood Park-Strathcona County Primary Care Network in Sherwood Park, Alberta. During his tenure since 2007, Mr. Ludwick has built and led this healthcare organization in which patient health outcomes have dramatically improved, patient wait times have been substantially reduced and staff turnover is less than 1% per year. In addition, Mr. Ludwick’s vision and strategic leadership for the operation of the inter-disciplinary Primary Care Network has achieved impressive financial savings for public health care dollars. General Manager and Chief Operating Officer @ The Primary Care Network (PCN) improves the health outcomes for over 90,000 residents in the area. The PCN consists of 6 primary care programs staffed by an interdisciplinary clinical team designed to help family physicians improve the care they provide to their patients. The organization’s business plan was presented to me in 2007 by the Board of Directors and I was responsible to build the organization from the ground up. Five years later, the PCN now consists of 60 employees and an annual budget of $5.3 million dollars. I am responsible for the creation, planning, development, coordinating and delivery of a complex set of healthcare reforms by networking with a wide range of private, public, clinical and administrative stakeholders. Reporting to a joint venture governance committee and Board of Directors, I am the senior executive responsible for strategic business planning, business development, financial management, operations and overall organizational performance.
