Cenk M. Yetis (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from Isik University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2001, and the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering and the Ph.D. degree in satellite communications and remote sensing from Istanbul Technical University in 2004 and 2010, respectively. From 2003 to 2007, he was with Turk Telekom (formerly Avea), one of the top three wireless services providers in Turkey, where he held rotational responsibilities in operation and planning groups.

From 2007 to 2010, he was a Visiting Researcher with Ohio State University and the University of California at Irvine, Irvine. From 2010 to 2019, he held academic positions in Universities and Research Centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Turkey, and Taiwan. In 2019, he joined Lund University, Sweden, as a Researcher to extend his research and teaching activities. In 2017, he received a two year Academia Sinica Fellowship and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Scholarship from 2005 to 2009. His research interests include signal processing, information theory, communication theory, and optimization theory for wireless communications.
