Biography

I am currently a Full Professor of the University in the Marketing Department of the University of Alicante (UA), having previously worked at the UMH as a pre-doctoral research fellow (Vali+d grant) and as a collaborating professor.

Regarding my training, I have a Diploma in Business Sciences from the UA (2007, Extraordinary Diploma Award), a Master's Degree in Commercial Company Management from the Sorbonne University of Paris and the Alicante Chamber of Commerce (2008), a Bachelor's Degree in Research and Mercado at the UMH (2010, Extraordinary Degree Award), Official Master's Degree in HR Management, Work and Organizations at the UMH (2012) and European Doctorate in Marketing and Strategic Business Management at the UMH (2016, Extraordinary Doctorate Award ).

In relation to my research activity, I have been part of various projects both in marketing and business as well as in teaching innovation. I have been recognized by the CNEAI-Aneca for the six-year research period 2013-2018. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the European Social Marketing Association (ESMA) and an elected member of the Board of Directors of the International Social Marketing Association (iSMA).

I have been part of the "Marketing" research group since 2017 where we have carried out various publications and communications in national and international congresses. I want to highlight my interest in research and international dissemination of my work, for which I carried out a research stay at the University College of Dublin in 2015. I am also a reviewer for various journals of international impact as well as international conferences in the field of marketing and business (eg Journal of Consumer Behavior, Tourism Management, Journal of Environmental Management, among others).

My main line of research focuses on the study of consumer behavior in the field of social marketing and tourism. Particularly focused on the conservation of natural resources (eg, Journal of Environmental Psychology, Resources Conservation and Recycling, Waste Management, British Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, Urban Water Journal, among others) and on the behavior of young people regarding different addictions (eg, Health Education Research Journal, Journal of Social Marketing, among others).
