Biography

Prof. (Dr.) Brajesh Kumar has a FPM degree from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a Masters degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and an undergraduate degree from College of Agricultural Engineering, Pusa.

While completing his M.Tech, he got prestigious DAAD Scholarship award and he did his M.Tech thesis from TU Dresden, Germany. He was also awarded Institute Silver Medal at IIT Kharagpur. During his FPM from IIM Ahmedabad, he worked on various issues related to commodity derivatives markets.

He has published in many international journals including International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Economic Studies, Journal of Emerging Market Finance and also made conference publications at national and international levels. He has received many scholarship/grants including NSE Research Scholarship. His current research interest includes derivatives markets, time-series and econometric modeling, asset pricing, micro economics and high frequency data.
