Dr. Bettina Hartmann is Director Foresense Programme and Head of the Dean’s Office of the Executive School

As Directore Foresense Programme, she is responsible for the design and execution of innovative short executive education programmes. In her role as Head of the Dean's Office of the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law of the University of St. Gallen, Bettina Hartmann is responsible for the operations of the central functions such as Finance, Marketing, HR and IT. Prior to this role, she was program manager for corporate programs at the ES-HSG.

Education

Bettina Hartmann holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen with a focus on Stakeholder Management, Strategy and Distributive Justice. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master from the Flagship Masters Program of the University of St. Gallen, namely the " Master in Strategy and International Management". In the fall of 2010 she did an exchange semester at the number one Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India, where she gained international and cross cultural experiences.

Practical Experience

Already during her studies, Bettina Hartmann acquired valuable international practical experience. On the one hand during her six month internship with Danone in Poland, where she supported projects in the area of personnel recruitment and development; On the other hand, she did a six monthly Marketing internship at the Hilti Headquarters in Liechtenstein, where she was involved in Product Development, Product Management and communication with the Hilti Market Organizations worldwide.
