Aries Tung

Mr Aries Tung had extensive experience in global asset management firms covering front to back functions including strategies & project implementation, sales & marketing, product management, risk management, operations, finance & compliance, etc in Asia Pacific. Mr Tung was a board member for many asset management and hedge fund companies from 2001.

Mr Tung is an accountant (HKICPA) and was responsible officer (RO) of UBS Asset Management (UBSAM) for HK SFC license type 1, 4 and 9. Mr Tung was also responsible for business of UBSAM China and its subsidiaries. Under his leadership, UBSAM was ranked no. 1 foreign asset managers in China for 2018 and 2019, the first wholly owned foreign entity (WOFE) with both private fund and QDLP license, launched the first China A share equity private fund and obtained the first China InterBank Bond Market License.

Mr Tung was former Executive Member and Assistant Secretary of International Expert Advisory Committee, Insurance Asset Management Association of China (IAMAC) with UBSAM as Chairman. Mr Tung was also former representative of International Partner Committee, Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) with UBSAM as Executive Chairman.
