Management Development Institute (MDI)

Dr. Misra is MBA and PhD in Finance from University of Lucknow. A gold medalist from the University of Lucknow, Dr. Misra has worked with leading business schools of the country. Prior to his joining MDI he was working with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi. He is a UGC certified trainer in Management and carries over 15 years of experience in training and research.

Teaching

In addition to the core courses (MANAC-I and Corporate Finance) Dr. Misra currently teaches elective courses on Investment Management and Business Analysis and Valuation.

Research

Dr Misra has to his credit two books and seven research papers published in refereed national and international journals. The book on Financial Management co-authored by him, published by Oxford University Press (OUP) is the recommened text book in some of the leading Business Schools and Universities across the country.His current research interests include market efficiency and investors' behaviour.

Training

Dr. Misra has been actively conducting executive training and development Programmes for leading Indian companies both in public and private sectors. His has been conducting training in the area of finance for finance managers, finance for non-finance managers, business analysis and valution, value creation.

Consultancy

Dr. Misra has been providing consulting in the area of financial management and value creation to corporates and Govt. departments/ Ministries. He was a part of the core group of consultants that recently provided consulting to the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Government of India on the performance measurement and evaluation of the Central Public Sector Enterpsises (CPSEs).
