Biography

NUS Institute of Systems Science

Angela teaches and provides consulting services in the areas of information security, IT risk management and project management. She is a lead instructor for (ISC)2 CISSP CBK Review Seminar and the course manager for information security courses and selected project management courses at ISS.

Angela has more than 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining ISS, she worked in financial, transportation and consulting companies as well as the government sector, holding management positions in various functional areas such as information security and software development.

  • Taught information security modules to overseas participants of Ministry of Foreign Affairs-sponsored training.
  • Provided consulting services to the Association of Information Security Professionals to formulate their membership framework.
  • Established a new information security department (at a Singapore-based company) largely from scratch and headed its operations.
  • Conducted security reviews (including security reviews of web applications) and provided security advice for various IT projects.
  • Managed various software development projects.
