Biography

Amir H. Miragha (S'09–M'10–SM'13) received the B.Sc. degree from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1995, the M.Sc. degree from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2010, all in electrical engineering. He has been working in different areas of energy and power systems since 1996. He is currently a Deputy Director of Energy Research Institute, Nanyang Technological University (ERI@N), Singapore, and an Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Waterloo. At ERI@N, he leads an R&D effort to build the next generation of distribution grid management tools.
