Alex Garber

Alex Garber, CPA, CA, MTax has been working in public accounting since 2004, focusing primarily on income taxation for Canadian owner-managed businesses and their shareholders. Alex started his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Toronto. He is currently an independent tax consultant, assisting various clients, sole-practitioners and CPA firms in the Greater Toronto Area.

In addition to public practice, Alex has been an instructor at Schulich since 2010, teaching accounting and taxation courses at both the undergraduate and master’s levels. Alex also teaches at the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program, and leads continuing professional development seminars for CPA Ontario.
