Alejandro Fernandez is a seasoned Human Resources senior executive with extensive experience in both global multinational corporations and providing technological and professional support to non-profit organizations. His primary focus lies in the development of strategic initiatives, conceptual design, refinement of processes, and offering management assistance. He is renowned for his ability to introduce innovative changes that streamline operational and administrative procedures, resulting in increased efficiency and enhanced outcomes.

In his previous role as the VP of Corporate Development & Communication at Brenntag Latin America, which is the world's largest chemical distributor, he was responsible for shaping the policies, practices, and systems that influenced employee behavior, attitudes, and performance across the 16 countries where Brenntag Latin America operated in the Latin American region.

Prior to this, until 2001, he held the position of Director of Training and Development at PETRÓLEOS DE VENEZUELA. During his tenure, he played a pivotal leadership role in establishing and implementing a diverse range of training and development programs. These programs typically encompassed curriculum development, assessments of market and client training needs, the integration of technological innovations, and enhancements in client service. Having dedicated over two decades to the Venezuelan oil industry, he occupied various roles within Human Resources, Corporate Planning, and Information Systems.

Furthermore, he earned the distinction of being elected as the President of the National Association of Industrial Relations of Venezuela in January 1996. In this capacity, he assumed responsibility for organizing the HR World Congress held in Caracas, Venezuela in 1998. He is also a professor of Human Resource Planning at the graduate school of the Universidad Metropolitana and has authored several books, including "Vignette of A Passionate Life" and "New Paradigms In the Management of Human Resources." Additionally, he co-authored books such as "Globalization, Risk and Realities" and "Knowledge and Competencies for Organizations of the 21st Century."

He has served as a guest speaker at numerous national and international events and is recognized as a pioneer of virtual education in Venezuela. He also held the position of President of the MIT Club of South Texas at one point in his illustrious career.
