Yang Dongtao

Yang Dongtao, professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Nanjing University Business School, Vice President of the Jiangsu Human Resources Association. She has a doctor's degree in management (Nanjing University), a master's degree in economics (Nanjing University), and a bachelor's degree in engineering (Southeast University). She has been responsible for 15 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund of the Ministry of Education. She has been conducting research on the A.O Smith (China) water heater co. ltd since its foundation in 1998. Her main research achievements include from Driving Innovation to Practical Innovation – A.O Smith's Innovation Management, the Key to Smith's Success– A.O Smith's Values Management, From Slogan to Action – A.O Smith's Cultural Formation Road. The course “Operation Management” taught by professor Yang was awarded the title of National Best Quality Course. She has taken charge of more than 40 enterprise management consulting projects, including providing management consulting services about human resource management, corporate culture, process reengineering, and other fields for RAE Systems (Shanghai), Ping An Insurance, Shenzhen CIMC Group, Suzhou High-tech Development Zone, Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine, and other enterprises and government institutions.
