SIM Professional Development

My name is Wade Azmy, Head of Pharos Executive Coaching Practice (ECP) and the Founder of Pharos Institute. I developed the first government accredited Diploma of Executive Coaching in Australia in 2014.

I am an experienced business executive with global practice and exposure in General Management, Marketing, sales and business development with previous assignments involving businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, USA and the Middle East for Hewlett Packard.

I have been an agent and catalyst of change with direct involvement in running businesses during spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions, and major restructuring programs within different market cycles. My approach in dealing with the dilemmas of change based on a unique blend of contingency and situational approach founded on system thinking perspective to enable the effectiveness of management actions during the change.

I developed management teams in more than 12 countries and cultures; he successfully implemented succession and leadership initiatives as part of his leadership development.

As the Founder of Pharos Institute, I am focusing most of my resources on leadership development, coaching, and mentoring of senior executives and board directors. I have a broad base of coaching experience across multiple industries including banking, mining, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, information technology, and universities.

I have a Master Degree in Coaching Psychology from Sydney University. I am an Engineer with various qualifications in corporate and business management, including a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma of corporate marketing.

I am also a doctoral candidate and my research is focusing on futures studies of strategic leadership effectiveness in engaging the workforce.
