Theodore Kaplan

Academic Division: Math & ScienceTed Kaplan, a Boston-area native, has been involved in high tech engineering, management, entrepreneurship, and higher education for many years. An engineer/MBA by training, he spent several years holding technical and management positions in the defense electronics and computer graphics/CAD systems industries, followed by founding and running a computer software training firm in Boston’s Back Bay, providing training services to major hospitals, professional associations, government agencies, industrial and financial services firms. Over the last fourteen years, Ted has migrated to teaching math and physics at the college level, conducting courses at Babson College, Bentley University, and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Ted is an Electrical Engineering Graduate of Cornell University, holding both a B.E.E. and a Certificate of Advanced Engineering Study from that institution. In addition, Ted holds an MBA from Boston University. On a personal note, Ted is on the Board of the Friday Night Supper Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to homeless and others in need in the Boston area.
