Tanja Baumann

Tanja Baumann is the associate director of marketing & communications at the Henry Art Gallery, a museum of contemporary art and ideas on the University of Washington campus. Prior to her appointment at the Henry, Baumann built a consultancy specializing in audience development and community engagement for cultural institutions. She worked with clients such as the Frye Art Museum, the Burke, the Bainbridge Museum of Art, and Seattle Art Fair. She held leadership positions at Bellevue Arts Museum, Book-It Repertory Theatre and 911 Media Arts Center, and has served as a guest speaker for the Museum Studies program.
