Biography

On 28 January 2019, he joined INWIT S.p.A. (Ftse Mib) with responsibility for the Legal, Corporate Affairs and Regulatory function as well as Secretary of the Board.
In this role, he was responsible for leading the team of the business combination with Vodafone Italia that led to the establishment of the first infrastructure operator in Italy and second in Europe, with over 22,000 towers.
He received the post-graduate FT NED (Non-Executive Director) Diploma from the Financial Times (London).
From 2017 to January 2019, he is Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Sole 24 ore Group, where he leads the team of the Enhancement Transaction of the Training and Events Area, the Capital Increase for cash in option to shareholders and the revolving lines. He is also Chairman of Il Sole 24 Ore USA, Board Member of Business School S.p.A. and of TER – Tavolo Editori Radio.
In 2016, he was Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at E.U.R. S.p.A. with responsibility for the areas of legal, human resources and organisation, purchasing and services, and corporate secretariat.
Between 2010-2015 he is Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Rai Group with responsibility for litigation, corporate, legislative and regulatory, contractual advice. He is also in charge of the legal team for the IPO of Rai Way and the bond issue on listed markets.
From 2014 to 2015 he is a member of the Board of Directors of Rai Way.
From 2012-2015 he is a member of the Board of Directors of AUDITEL.
From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the Legal and Policy Committee Union and the Legal and Public Affairs Assembly of EBU – European Broadcasting Union.
In 2008-2012, he was a member of the Board of Directors of INPGI, appointed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and a member of the “Contributions and Supervision” Commission of the same organisation.
From 2007 to 2008 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Autostrade Serenissima – Brescia Padova company.
From 2003 to 2008 he worked at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, first in the Department for Information and Publishing as a legal expert and later at the General Secretariat.
From 1999 to 2003 he was a member of the Board of Directors of SEA (Milan airports) and from 2001 to 2003 of SACBO (Bergamo civil airport) and Malpensa Logistica Europea.
Since 1998, he has been in the top positions in Sports Justice at the FIGC – Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, where he was, among other things, Vice President of the Court of Appeal; since 2016, he has also been a member of the Federal Court of Appeal and before that of the Federal Tribunal, of the FIT – Federazione Italiana Tennis as well as the FIG’s legal manager.
Between 1995-2010, he was a partner at Studio Associato Lo Giudice and previously practised law at leading firms in Milan and Rome.
Graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore, Milan in 1990.
He has been qualified as a lawyer since 1993 and a member of the higher courts since 2001.
