Russell Crook is the First Tennessee Foundation Professor of Management in the Haslam College of Business at UT. Crook holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Florida State University. He has published over 30 articles on strategy and entrepreneurship topics related to why some firms perform better than others. Crook is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Management, and he teaches several strategy courses at UT. Before earning his Ph.D., Crook worked for American Airlines, US Airways, and IBM in a variety of capacities, including strategic planning and procurement.
