Biography
Aalto University School of Business
I am an Assistant Professor of Design Business Management at the Department of Management Studies. I teach mainly topics to do with Business Model Innovation, Service Driven Platforms, Digitalization and Service Management. Before joining Aalto School of Business, I was a PhD candidate at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management and post doctoral researcher leading the research group Service Engineering and Management. In addition, I have been academic visitor at the University of Cambridge since 2012. I am fascinated about the challenge of changing business environment caused by digitalization, big data, internet of things and increasing dominance of services that create pre-requisites for business model innovation. Therefore, my research topics evolve around dynamic strategies, continuous change, systemic innovation, service driven platforms, digitalization, resilience and systemic competitive advantage.
