Patricia S Abril

Patricia Sánchez Abril is Professor and Chair of Business Law at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. She has also served as Associate Dean of the University of Miami Graduate School and, prior to that, Vice Dean of Graduate Business Programs at Miami Herbert. Her research centers on privacy and business law and her teaching interests include intellectual property law, negotiation, and ethics. In 2018, Patricia was awarded the University of Miami Faculty Senate Outstanding Teaching Award. Patricia earned her B.A. from Duke University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School and has been at the University of Miami since 2004.
