Patricia Pagano, L.C.S.W. is an EAP Counselor at Beacon Health Options, a psychotherapist and consultant in private practice for over 20 years in Greenwich and New Canaan, Connecticut, Westchester and Manhattan, New York. She is also an adjunct Field Advisor for Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service Online MSW program. Her current areas of interest include working with adults of all ages, children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, addictions, bereavement, spirituality and end of life issues. She also enjoys providing family and couples counseling, while enhancing stress management, communication and parenting skills. Ms. Pagano has previously worked as an EAP counselor at The Employee Development Center of The New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Ms. Pagano has provided psychotherapeutic treatment to recovering poly-substance abusers through the Parallax Center. Responsibilities at the EAP included short-term counseling and crisis intervention for individuals, couples and families. She also provided numerous critical incident stress debriefings and workplace seminars on topics including Stress Management, Time Management, Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution, to name a few. She is an energetic, service oriented professional with a background in public and investor relations. Her previous professional experience includes: Goldman Sachs & Company’s Emerging Markets, ING Barings’ Equity Capital Market and Makovsky & Company’s Investor Relations Division. Ms. Pagano began her academic career at Fordham University’s Rose Hill Campus where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Italian literature and French language. Ms. Pagano continued her education at Hunter College Graduate School of Social Work where she received an MSW degree. Her post-graduate training includes a Post-Master’s Certificate Program in Child and Adolescent Therapy through the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. Here she completed an internship through Westchester Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Clinic working with children, adolescents and their families using play therapy techniques in an outpatient setting under clinical supervision. She is a certified field instructor for social work interns through the Columbia University SIFI program. She has also completed clinical training through the Ackerman Institute for the Family, Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulemia, DBT training and private clinical supervision.
