Bentley University

Onur Altindag is an Associate Professor of Economics at Bentley University, specializing in the fields of population health, migration, and economic development. His academic affiliations include the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), Households in Conflict Network (HiCN), and Economic Research Forum (ERF). Moreover, he holds the distinction of being an invited researcher at J-PAL & IPA’s Displaced Livelihoods Initiative (DLI).

Throughout his research, he consistently focuses on economically vulnerable populations. He employs a diverse set of research methods, including descriptive analysis, experimental studies, and quasi-experimental approaches. His collaborative efforts often involve working closely with local institutions, either through partnerships to collect data and develop interventions or by utilizing their administrative data to inform policy decisions.
