Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Organizations at Open University of Catalonia

Biography

Holder of a doctoral degree in Management Sciences from IESE Business School (University of Navarre). She also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the UPC and a bachelor's degree in Law from the UOC.

Her academic activity at the UOC revolves around courses in the field of enterprise, business organization and people management. She is currently director of the UOC's University Master's Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility. She also works with IESE Business School in the doctoral degree courses given by the departments of Decision Analysis and Accounting and Management Control.

Her research interests are related with ethics in organizations, specifically in the fields of organizational justice, establishing trust-based relationships in companies and implementing management control systems that help align the motivations of all of the company's stakeholder groups. The goal is to understand how the different management control systems can help create cultures that foster values and ethics.

She performed a doctoral stay at Durham Business School and has participated actively as a researcher at the Crèdit Andorrà Chair of Markets, Organizations and Humanism (IESE Business School), where she has taken part in several research projects and presented papers at international conferences. She collaborates with professors at the University of Colorado, IESE Business School, the University of Toulouse, and Emlyon Business School, among others. She is a member of the UOC's Sustainability and Management Research Group (SUMA).
