Nafisa is a commercial litigator with experience representing clients in a variety of complex litigation matters including contract and partnership disputes, products liability cases, security investigations, and bankruptcy litigation. She has experience assisting clients throughout the entire litigation process from initial pleadings and discovery to trials and appeals.
Nafisa began her career at an international law firm in Dallas, Texas where she represented clients in a variety of cases including defending clients in high stakes trials in the Delaware Chancery Court and the Southern District of Texas. Nafisa also had a significant pro bono practice and helped clients facing legal battles including immigration, civil rights litigation, and criminal defense.
Prior to law school, Nafisa joined Teach for America and taught for four years in the Dallas Independent School District where she served on the campus leadership team helping to improve classroom curriculum and instruction. Nafisa enjoys commercial litigation because it allows her to use creative strategies to help clients mitigate risks and resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.
