Biography
Matthew Kemp has served as an instructor for the School of Accountancy & MIS for 10 years. He mentors business students on critical thinking in order to develop the technical skills and business acumen necessary to thrive in today’s marketplace.
Outside of his teaching responsibilities, Kemp is director of professional services at Akamai Technologies. In his role, Kemp oversees growth of services revenue and teams across East, Latin America, inside sales and acquisitions regions. His startup experience ranges from bootstrapping his own company to assisting others with raising funds for their early stage technical startups.
Kemp is a technologist and leader experienced in strategic, capacity and financial planning. His experiences encompass compliance, program and project management, network and systems design, application development, systems administration, risk mitigation and information security.
