Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education

Matthew is a Fellow in Professional Services Leadership and Strategy at Cambridge Judge Business School, as well as a consultant, non-executive chair and leadership mentor, with over 30 years’ business experience, including in global leadership. He is former CEO of the UK, Middle East and Africa region, and former global board and global management committee member, of the world’s largest law firm. Before assuming a full-time leadership position, Matthew was a practising solicitor for more than 20 years.

Through his extensive leadership, management and consulting experience, Matthew has acquired considerable expertise in the professional services sector, ranging from inception and execution of strategy, including global and regional expansion and integration, to driving revenue and profit growth. He also brings a deep understanding of the issues firms face in the delivery of major change programmes, innovation, the impact of technology, process optimisation and cost-reductions and efficiencies, as well as in marketing, brand-building, business development, key client programmes and the development of talent.

Matthew has also undertaken research collaboration and spoken on professional services at another leading international business school, and is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.

Matthew is also Chair of Fair Finance, an award-winning community development finance institution in the social lending/micro-finance sector.
