Biography

UCL School of Management

Matt is a technologist and space instrumentation engineer, and has worked on a variety of space technology projects as a detector physicist, systems engineer and as a project manager.  Most of this work has been in the context of bespoke instrumentation for international space science projects for ESA, NASA and other UK-International collaborations in the Mullard Space Science Laboratory.

He is currently the Graduate Tutor at the UCL Department of Space and Climate Physics, where he helps lead (and teaches in) the UCL Masters programmes in Space Science & Engineering, Systems Engineering Management _and _Technology Management.

As an associate lecturer in the UCL School of Management, he teaches on the popular Project Management courses. He also has extensive experience in developing and delivering customised training courses to industry, chiefly in the aerospace engineering sector. He has been teaching the UCL Executive Education APM-accredited Project Management course since 2001, and is a co-author of its material. He is a long standing Member of both APM and INCOSE.
