Kristina Piskarskaite

Ms. Piskarskaite started with a brief introduction to LEAN management and the different types of waste. The students were then allowed to work themselves as fictitious employees in a cardboard box production facility. The production line was converted and optimized in three passes with the help of teamwork, brainstorming and the application of LEAN principles. Waste in the production process was eliminated by the students themselves. The subsequent feedback from the students was consistently positive, everyone appreciated the practical relevance that was created in the lectures.
