Biography

A successful senior executive and business leader with more than 30 years in business and a wealth of experience as CEO, Executive Director, Interim, Non-Executive Director & Chair on the boards of start up, scale up and established SMEs. Keith has transformed businesses through the development of people, changing the organisation’s culture and advancing quality and customer delight. He has more than 25 years of international business experience and is a DIT Export Champion.

Keith has visited and worked with some very innovative businesses from San Francisco to Shanghai, studied disruptive strategy with Harvard Business School and applied these principles in multiple sectors to enhance competitive advantage.

Strengths include; strategic foresight, governance, Board development, international business growth, marketing, b2b sales & sales leadership, contract negotiation & dispute resolution, collaborative innovation, customer-focused product development, project management, implementation of lean and leading culture change. He has trained and mentored directors in many sectors and observed Board meetings in a wide-range of organisations, providing practical advice to improve Board performance.

Keith is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director, a Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield and an Institute of Directors UK Director of the Year.
