Biography

THNK School of Creative Leadership

Talent Management, Global Policy and Advocacy at Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

My experience and deep interests:

I am based in: Torrance

I was referred to THNK by Amelia Hurlburt.

At my core, I am a learner and teacher. These attributes have been my guiding compass both personally and professionally. Professionally, I have been a part of The Walt Disney Company for twenty-five years where I have been in roles that allowed me to invest in individuals, leaders, and the set up and transformation of organizations in the USA, Europe and Asia. Personally, I have invested in my ongoing education and pursued experiences that have taken me around the world and allowed me to more deeply understanding different cultures, religions, and world-views.

I have been deeply touched by so much of what is happening around the world and have decided it’s time for me to move my skills and abilities from internal consulting to investing and building strong social leaders for today and tomorrow. I believe that when you can install a sense of confidence within someone; there is no challenge they can’t step up to and take on. This belief is core to the work I am pursuing: to invest in young women and set them up with the skills to be both competitive in collegiate and corporate space as well as navigate a world still wrought with conscious and unconscious bias towards women.
