Bio

Joëlle Vanhamme , Ph.D, is Professor of Marketing at EDHEC Business School. Prior to joining EDHEC, Professor Vanhamme was faculty member at Rotterdam School of Management and IESEG School of Management. She received her doctorate from the Catholic University of Louvain (Louvain School of Management, 2002) and her accreditation to supervise research (French habilitation qualification, 2012) from the University of Bourgogne. Joëlle Vanhamme is the current Editor of the Journal of Business Ethics''s section on corporate social responsibility (quantitative issues), one of the FT50 journal list. Her research has appeared in top-ranking journals such as the California Management Review, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Retailing, and Marketing Letters. One of Joëlle Vanhamme’s core research streams focusses on social marketing and corporate social responsibility (e.g., influence of corporate social responsibility communication on consumers; how to promote more responsible consumers’ behaviours such as healthy eating or sustainable behaviour; how to curb product obsolescence)
