Joel Xavier

I specialize in creating, nurturing, and developing positive student engagement systems in academic institutions at the tertiary level, especially designing and implementing residential ecosystems. I partner with students to create exciting and invigorating campus cultures. My experience spans a few of the top universities, and Graduate Management schools in India. I hold an MBA, and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, widely recognized as India's top Management school with an acceptance rate lower than 1%. As a leader, administrator and research scholar, my interests lie in student culture, student engagement, experiential learning, and campus design in higher education, especially in management and engineering education. I am also interested in unconventional models of higher education for individuals and groups.
