Jen Wood, MA, ACC, combines her skills as a Health & Wellness Coach and Nutritionist with her experience as a Leadership Coach to help women leaders discover the right combination of nutrition, lifestyle and mindset practices so they can show up in life and work as the best version of themselves.
Jen’s career began in education and evolved into corporate Human Resources where she spent nearly 20 years developing, facilitating, and leading development programs and coaching engagements for individuals and teams to improve performance and achieve greater results both professionally and personally. Care for the whole person – mind, body, and spirit was always at the core of her approach. She continually sought ways to integrate health and wellness principles with each of her corporate clients, and found that improving wellbeing led to the most profound shifts in her clients lives.
Inspired by the results of her corporate clients, she launched Jen Wood Wellness, a private health and wellness coaching practice based in Northern Virginia. Her coaching programs and workshops are aimed at helping professional women lead with a healthy body and mind.
Jen completed her health coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and her leadership coaching certification through Georgetown University. She has completed several advanced certifications and training in the areas of mindfulness and nutrition, specifically food sensitivity testing, digestive concerns, gut health, and adrenals. Jen earned a Masters degree in Human Performance and certifications in Advanced Instructional Design and Adult Learning from Marymount University, and holds a Bachelors degree in Education from Penn State University.
