Biography

Jennifer Chunn is a Manager of Data Science and Advanced Analytics for Corporate Analytics at Nordstrom and an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University. She completed her Master’s degree in Statistics at the University of Washington. She has also taught at the University of Washington, James Cook University in Singapore, and workshops throughout Southeast Asia.

In her current role, Jennifer uses statistical methods and big data analytics to drive customer¬centered improvements and innovation and engages broadly with Customer Experience stakeholders to frame, structure, and prioritize business problems where analytic projects or tools can have the biggest impact on business. Jennifer has conducted research in fields ranging from disability economic public policy, psychology, early childhood education, public health and demographic forecast modeling, where she worked in collaboration with the United Nations to develop probabilistic uncertainty bounds for population projections. In addition, she continues to research statistics education and develop pedagogical statistics software packages.
