Dr. Jae Ha Lee was the third Dean and Professor of Finance at SKK GSB. He is a Founding Member of SKK GSB in 2003, and his previous positions at SKK GSB were Deputy Dean and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the period 2004-2014. He also served as MBA Director and member of committees including the Executive Committee from 1997 to 2003 at SKKU Business School. Prior to joining SKKU in 1997, he was the MAPCO Presidential Professor of Finance at the University of Oklahoma in USA.

Dr. Lee published more than 35 articles in Journal of Finance, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and other leading finance Journals, of which some were reported in USA Today and Boston Globe. He received 4 best paper awards, including FMA and AIMR, 18 research fellowships and grants, and 11 teaching excellence awards.

Dr. Lee has participated in various projects on derivatives and capital markets for the US and Korean governments. He has served as advisor, committee chair, or member for many financial institutions and government agencies. He was also a board member of Kyobo Life Insurance for 9 years. He was an editor-in-chief of the Korean Journal of Finance for 2 years, and served as associate editor of the Journal of Financial Research for 6 years. He also served as director and vice-president for Korean academic associations. He was the President of the Korea Derivatives Association in 2006.
