Ingrid Emerick

Ingrid Emerick has been in book publishing for nearly 20 years. She began her career at Seal Press (now an imprint of Perseus) and during her 12 years there held a range of positions, including publicity director, marketing and sales director, rights director, senior editor, editorial director and associate publisher. Ingrid is the cofounder of Girl Friday Productions and an instructor in the Certificate in Editing program. She has also led workshops in editing and writing for the Hugo House and the Editorial Freelancers Association. Ingrid is the co-editor of Gifts of the Wild: A Woman’s Book of Adventure; A Woman Alone: Travel Tales from Around the Globe; and Go Your Own Way: Women Travel the World Solo. She is the author of City Walks: Seattle and the co-author of a number of other books.
