NUS Institute of Systems Science
Boon Kui is passionate with processes and methods in development of software systems. His current teaching interests in ISS include Analysis and Design as well as Design Patterns for object-oriented software systems. His current research interests centre on the formalization of user-specified decisions for advancing automated evolution in model-driven developments. Prior to joining ISS, Boon Kui was in the telecommunication industry. He had experienced full lifecycles of various software development projects on telecommunication switching systems and their peripheral systems for narrowband, mobile and IP networks.

- Master of Technology (Software Engineering), Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore, 2001. (Winner of Accenture Gold Medal and Book Prize, 2000-2001, for being the best student of Software Engineering. Best project team of Software Engineering for year 2000~2001.)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), First Class Honours, National University of Singapore, 1992.
