Career to date is a story of considerable commercial success, as seen in the transformation of the handbag department at a major department store from a provider of core basics into the biggest retailer of premium and luxury handbags in the UK. A strategic operator and seasoned branded and private label specialist with the experience and skill to identify opportunities and to understand and lead the response to the changing demands of the customer. Focused upon driving sales and margin having delivered year on year growth in department stores, concessions and online. Intellectually rigorous, with strong financial and analytical skills and an ability to identify key trends on the rise and before they decline. Excellent team leader with strong training, coaching and mentoring skills, a positive and driving presence in any team of which he is a part. Loves people and product, with a peerless reputation within the industry for developing compelling retail destination offers, with strong visual impact, delivering the full concept to carrier bag experience.
