Prof. dr. Cees van Riel is professor of Corporate Communication at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He is director and Founder of the Master of Science in Corporate Communication programme (MSc degree programme) at the same business school. He is also the co-founder of the Reputation Institute (www.reputationinstitute.com) in New York. In 2011 Cees van Riel has received the Pathfinder Award, the highest academic honor bestowed by the Institute for Public Relations (IPR) for his contribution to research in the field of corporate reputation and strategic alignment. Cees van Riel has published articles in prestige journals as The Academy of Management Journal, Long Range Planning, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Marketing, and ten books.
