Dimitri Schildmeijer

Dimitri is a senior communications skills trainer working with some of the largest companies in the world. He is a former international corporate communications manager and consultant. His personal credo is communications is a contact sport and he dedicates his professional life to making people better communicators.

Professional background

For eight years, Dimitri held various positions in the communications and public affairs department of ExxonMobil Petroleum & Chemical. He worked on employee communications, regional PR, issues management, crisis preparedness and response, and media relations. Most recently he was the company’s Corporate Communications Manager for Europe. Dimitri also worked for four years as a communications consultant in Akkanto (a Belgian agency) and Hill & Knowlton Brussels. He specialized in issues management and crisis communications.

Education and qualifications

Dimitri holds a Master in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
