Columbia Business School
Dalibor Eterovic is Managing Director and Economist of The Rohatyn Group (TRG), an asset manager focusing on emerging markets. His driving interest are financial systems in the developing world. In the private sector he has served as Chief Economist and Head of Strategy at Grupo Security, a leading Latin American multi-platform commercial and investment bank, as Manager of Economics and Fixed Income at Larrain Vial Investment Bank and as an economist at Merrill Lynch in London, focusing on emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has also held roles in the public sector, serving as senior economist at the Chilean Central Bank. Since 2016, he has served as a member of the Chilean Ministry of Finance’s Commission on Potential Growth. A prolific public speaker and writer, he pens a monthly column for the Diario Financiero and his academic research has been published in leading academic international journals. He has taught at the School of Government of the Universidad Adolfo Ibañez and held a Visiting Professorship of International and Public Affairs at Columbia SIPA. He holds a B.A., from Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), a MSc from the University of Birmingham and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
