Dr Casidhe Troyer is broadly interested in the processes of technology adoption and technology generation within organisations.

She has two main areas of research. First, she studies the consequences of alternative contractual relationships with human capital for the technology adoption process, with a specific focus on the healthcare industry. Second, she examines how the demands of shareholders can shape an organisation’s technology strategy.

Previously, she was an Assistant Economist in the Research and Statistics Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, specialising in capital markets.

She has a PhD in Strategy from the Stephen M Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics with a concentration in poverty studies from Washington and Lee University.
